Southern Building Systems began its life as East Tennessee Structures in the mid 1970’s.  Due to a change in the ownership, the business was re-named and incorporated as Southern Building Systems in 1985. Since that time, it has grown and developed into the premier metal building manufacturer/distributor in the Southeastern United States. With a wide variety of of metal buildings for commercial, residential and agricultural uses, Southern Building Systems has the building for you. In 1987, SBS was invited by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to participate in a trade mission to the Russian International Construction Exhibition.  Fifteen companies were invited and SBS was well represented.  The trip was counted as a success and the information presented there was well received by our Russian counterparts.

Today, SBS produces and delivers metal building packages that meet or exceed the ever-changing code requirements in all states they service.
